Loosestrife - Lysimachia punctata

DESCRIPTION: Native to Central Europe and Asia Minor.  Belongs to the Primulaceae family.  Perennial plant with whorled, lanceolate leaves.  Whorls of cup-shaped, yellow flowers.

Exposition: semi-shaded to sunny location

Soil: Can adapt to any kind of well-drained soils

Germination temperature: 16-21ºC  (60-70ºF)

Required time: 30 days

Special care: Sow indoor in the spring.  If germination has not occurred after 30 days, place seeds in the refrigerator (4ºC / 39ºF) for 2 to 4 weeks.  Keep the ground moist during germination.  Sow outdoors from September to October.  May be invasive.$ 1.95
