This booklet describing the gardens in the first International Garden Festival is intended both to prolong the enjoyment and to share new ideas. The commitee for the evant consists of the Festival founders, that is Alexander Reford, Director of the Reford Gardens, and Philippe Poullaouec-Gonidec, who holds and co-founded the Chair in Landscape and Environment at the Université de Montréal, along with Festival Director Denis Lemieux. They invited eight garden designers to participate in its first edition, from June 21 to October 9, 2000.
