Gardens
A
visit of the gardens generally takes between 1 ½ and 3 hours.
The visit is self-guided. Plants are identified with labels in Latin,
French and English. The gardens are open every day from May 31 to October 5, 2008. The ticket booth

International
Garden Festival
A visit of the International Garden Festival takes about one hour. Guides are on hand to welcome you. A program of family activities and special events will take place from June 20 to July 20. The contemporary gardens will be on display until October 5 on the same schedule as the gardens.
Mitis
River Park
The visit lasts from one to three hours. Stroll along the pathways of the Park to observe local flora, fauna and landscapes.
The
Park's naturalists will welcome you as you arrive and are on hand
during your visit of the site. New in 2008, 10 campsites for campers and sea-kayakers overlooking the Mitis Bay. The Park is open every day from June 21 to August 31 2008, from 9 am to 5 pm. Please note that it is possible for groups to visit the Park outside this period by reservation.

Visitors
will enjoy views of the gardens and forest from a new self-service
restaurant and patio in the Visitor Pavilion where light meals are
available.
Estevan
Lodge
Your
visit to the gardens is not complete without a tour of Estevan Lodge.
The panelled rooms where Lord Mount Stephen formerly played host
to his guests. Our chef offers various culinary opportunities: the table d’hôte in Estevan Lodge at lunchtime, Gourmet evenings on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, Sunday brunches beginning at 10 am (sometimes with music), and tea (on occasion accompanied by authors) on Sunday afternoons. You
can pause for refreshments or light meals at the Garden Café.
Picnic
areas
Picnic
areas are located in shaded areas at the entrance to the gardens.

Pets
Pets
are permitted in the parking area and the pathways to the mouth
of the Mitis River. However they are not admitted to the historic
gardens or the site of the International Garden Festival.
