Transportation

The gardens are easily accessible by road, bus, train, aeroplane and ferry.

By road:

From the West: take Highway 20 until it ends at Cacouna. Follow route 132 in an easterly direction, beyond Rimouski, to the end of Highway 20. Follow the tourism road signs for "Les Jardins de Métis". Continue along route 132 past the intersection in Sainte-Flavie until you reach the gardens.

From the South: From Campbellton, follow route 132 north. After Mont-Joli, follow the tourism road signs for "Les Jardins de Métis".

From the East: From Percé, follow route 132 west along the St. Lawrence. After Matane, follow the tourism road signs for "Les Jardins de Métis".

By bus:

There is daily service to Mont-Joli with departures from Quebec City, via Rivière-du-Loup and Rimouski. For further information, contact Orléans Express at (514) 395-4000.

By train:

There is regular daily service to Mont-Joli from both Halifax and Montréal. For further information, call Via Rail at 1 800 361-5390.

By air:

The gardens are a 10 minute drive from the airport in Mont-Joli. The airport has regular daily service from Montréal and Québec City via Air Canada (Air Canada Jazz). For flight information, call 1 888 247-2262.

By ferries:

Five (5) ferries link the two shores of the St. Lawrence, making the gardens easily accessible to those wishing to cross over from the North Shore.
