The 11th edition of the International Garden Festival is now open. The opening ceremonies were held last night before 150 designers and guests. You can see the roster of gardens by clicking on www.refordgardens.com/english/festival/edition.php
The International Garden Festival begins its second decade with a rich program of gardens and activities. For its 11th edition, the Festival is presenting a record 21 gardens on the Festival site as well as extra-mural gardens in Toronto, Montreal and Calgary. The theme of the 2010 festival is “Paradise” and the invited city is the city of Berlin. The program includes the broadcast of the documentary Twice Upon a Garden, as well as culinary, musical, cultural and artistic events throughout the summer.
