Première of Il était deux fois un jardin/Twice Upon a Garden by Philippe Baylaucq (March 4, 2010)
On Friday, March 26, at 6.30 pm the
Festival will present the première of “Il était deux fois un jardin”, a new
film on the Festival and the gardens of Elsie Reford by film-maker Philippe
Baylaucq, at the Canadian Centre for Architecture (CCA) in Montréal (1920, rue
Baile). It will be a feature event of the 28th Festival international du film
sur l’art / International Festival of Films on Art.
A roundtable discussion will
follow the screening of the film featuring the film’s director, Philippe
Baylaucq, along with Alexander Reford, participants in the 2009 edition of the
Festival (A4 team - Claudia Delisle, Karine Dieujuste, Sami Tannoury, Philippe
Nolet), artist David Ross, along with Marie-Claude Robert, Directrice Générale
of the Association des Architectes paysagistes du Québec, with moderator Claude
Paquin, editor of Formes magazine.
The film will also be shown on Saturday, March 27 at the CCA at 1.30 pm (in
English) and on Sunday, March 28 at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts at 1.30 pm
(in French).
